Privacy and brand

Data handled by this website and the use of the name and logo.

Updated October 10, 2026

The desktop application

GitThul has no telemetry. Repository files are stored on your computer; saved credentials use the system keyring. This website handles the data described below.

Website and infrastructure

Cloudflare hosts the website and API and may process connection and security data. We do not use advertising trackers. The language is saved in your browser. Editing and administration sessions use secure cookies.

Payments and access emails

Ko-fi processes contributions through its payment providers. We store the payment identifier, email and minimum information needed to enable a Support Commit and prevent duplicates. Resend sends access links. We do not receive or store card details.

What is public

The Support Graph only shows approved submissions: alias, message, catalog avatar, color, optional HTTPS link and publication date. Emails, amounts and private access tokens are not shown.

Moderation

When automatic moderation is active, we send the proposed text and optional link to OpenAI to check the publication rules. We do not send your email or payment details. Unclear submissions or service failures go to human review. A manual decision can correct an automatic one.

Edit, withdraw or delete data

Publication is optional. Use your private link to edit or withdraw a Support Commit. Email support to correct or delete associated personal data. We retain the records needed for access, moderation, duplicate prevention and handling requests; you can ask about your records.

External services

Downloads and guides open GitHub; contributions open Ko-fi. These services, Cloudflare, Resend and OpenAI have their own privacy policies.
